*Role : Senior Hadoop Developer* *Location : **Denver, CO* *Duration : 9-12+ Months * *Job Description:* We are seeking a Senior Hadoop Developer to assist with processing billions of event/click stream data in a real time format using the Hadoop Ecosystem of tools including, Kafka and Storm. Responsibilities and Skills: · Required experience *core Java 1.7* · Required experience with *Hadoop 2.0* and Yarn applications · Required experience in messaging and collection frameworks like *Kafka, Flume, or Storm* · Required experience developing applications on Hadoop, utilizing Pig, Hive, Sqoop, or Spark · Required deployment of Kafka/Storm capabilities in a real time production environment - 24/7 is a plus. · Current knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting, as well as solid experience in code optimization and high performance computing · Proven track record of delivering backend systems that participate in a complex ecosystem · Distributed database experience (HBase, Accumulo, Cassandra, or equivalent) · Knowledge in Big Data related technologies and open source frameworks preferred · Experience in software development of large-scale distributed environments · Good communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly. · Great design and problem solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting at scale · *Good understanding in any*: advanced mathematics, statistics, and probability · Adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership · Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment · Experience leading teams of 5-8 as well as in a hands-on capacity *Role : Taleo Technical Consultant* *Location : Towson, MD* *Duration : 6+ Months * *Job Description:* · Experienced Taleo technical consultant to assist with technical tasks on a Taleo implementation. · Tasks include resolving existing problems with Taleo Connect Client, and assisting with integrating with MS Outlook calendars. · Higher Education experience preferred.
