*Title : Java Developer in Eagan, MN* *Duration : 6-9 month * ****Locals only* Description: This project is to refactor an in-production wellness application that has been very well-received. Due to its success, the volumes occurring and anticipated are more than the design will handle, so a new team of developers is being brought in to split system components into more modular components that can be run in parallel as well as tuning *SQL* queries and modifying *ETL* processes. They are using an *Agile* approach (new) including 20-50% pair programming for code reviews, *TDD*, daily scrums, etc. They have an excellent Agile coach on the team. The technical environment is *IBM* with *Java/J2EE*, *Eclipse, Spring/Ibatis, DB2*, *Datastage* and a proprietary rules engine. The system has many long batch processes and lots of integration.
