Working with the Senior DBA and Applications development team the candidate will provide 24x7 technical / administrative support in the area of database administration, performance tuning, and maintenance of the Oracle applications RAC, as well as assist with database patching and code design reviews. Skill requirements include solid knowledge and experience of Oracle Applications release R12 and 11.5.10 and core DBA duties. Primary responsibilities would also include full life-cycle support of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Data Warehouse. Required Qualifications: . 7+ Years of Oracle/Oracle 10g RAC Database administration . 7+ years of Oracle Applications R12 and 11.5.10 administration and technical stack knowledge including workflow and system administration. . Excellent understanding of Applications Hardware and Infrastructure setup. . Ability to perform Database tuning, SQL tuning, Database Backup recovery, Sizing and basic Unix Administration. . Experience of other database systems, preferably SQL Server . In-depth knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g with production support experience in a multi-project environment. . Experience with Unix/Linux in a multi-domain environment including basic commands and shell scripting. . Oracle Recovery Manager, Import/Export (and Datapump), SQL*Loader . Command of Oracle performance and tuning skills including server configuration and tracing facilities. . Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager. . Excellent written and oral communication skills . Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities . Excellent collaboration skills . Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment .
