We are looking for a contractor for our EDI Business Analyst- Need 8+
Years of experience
Duration: 6+ months
Location: San Ramon, CA
Rate: $DOE per hour on C2C
The EDI Business Analysts servers as a lead for all communications between
internal users, external trading partners and external communication
network providers for Taylor Farms. He/she will be responsible for advanced
troubleshooting with new and existing customers, testing new/existing
trading partner data maps, maintaining profiles in ERP system and
monitoring communication and data flow. Should be proficient in documenting
integration flows and mapping specifications and be able to gather business
requirements and perform gap analysis. Provide EDI support for internal
users and customers.
Required skills: * 5+ years' experience with EDI around PO's,
invoices, and ASN's
* EDI standards, XML and SQL knowledge
* Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP exposure preferred
* Familiarity with Supply Chain Management concepts.
* Familiarity around FTP, AS2 and VAN setups and monitoring
* Must be detail and task oriented, organized and able to
work under pressure to meet concurrent deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

The EDI Analyst does not need to be a programmer but needs to have system
knowledge and be a logical thinker.
Requirements:
Verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving skills.
Prior experience with supporting customer issues relating to edi orders and
invoices.
Be able to understand EDI purchase order, advance ship notice and invoice
document formats to be able to test.
Configure EDI software for customer implementation and understand how it
works.
Extract data in EDI and understand looping structure and document
specifications.
Familiarity with Supply Chain Management concepts.
Technical skills are not required, but nice to have. Some preferred
technical skills are Query/SQL, basic EDI mappings, and interpreting XML
and understanding of secure communication protocols.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimum supervision.
Troubleshoot error logs
Configure and troubleshoot EDI scheduler and AS2 software (optional)
