*Position: Java Production Support* *Location: Alexandria, VA* *Duration: 6+ months * *Interview: Phone and Face to Face* *USC only* *Job Description: * Troubleshoot large, cutting edge standalone Java applications and web application systems. The candidate will provide post production support for full-stack Java-based standalone application and web application software. Use sound software engineering and object oriented principles to analyze, assess and respond to user-submitted trouble tickets. Key Skills: JAVA, JEE, Web services (REST Based), Spring, Hibernate, JSON, XML, JSP. *Responsibilities:* · Triage and resolve incident tickets submitted by users. · Collaborate with other engineers to conduct root-cause analysis. · Confirm reported incident and provide response to end-user. · Use a variety of tools to perform analyze incident reports. · Participate as a member in Agile teams, and work with other team member to review user stories, estimate and create sprint backlogs, participate in sprint reviews, demos and retrospectives. *Education Requirements: * · Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 1+ years of experience. *Required Skills:* · Experience in Java technologies. · Hands on experience in Servlets, JSP, EJB/JPA and one or more frameworks like Spring or Struts. · Experience in REST services using Resteasy, Java Jersey or JAX-RS. · Experience in one of the following ORM tools Hibernate, iBatis, JPA · Experience in at least one of the following configuration management tools: PVCS, Subversion and build automation tools such as Ant, Maven, BuildForge or similar. · Experience in at least one of the following integrated development environments: Eclipse, IBM RAD, or JDeveloper. *Clearance Requirement:* · The candidate must also be able to pass a security background check, including a credit check. The clearance is a Public Trust level. Candidates with a minimum of an active Public Trust clearance are preferred.
