*Position : Mainframe Consultant* *Location : Cleveland, OH* *Duration : 12+ months* *Interview : Skype* *Mainframe Consultant* will be responsible for developing specifications document for 150+ existing cobol programs along with the Flowcharts to help the IT Team develop the system in the new platform. This position requires expertise in the mainframe cobol programs, JCL and other IBM utilities to come up with the document detailing business rules built in to tell business about valid rules. Deliverable for this role would be to create requirement specification documents with flowcharts and get validated by business users and responsible for presenting the requirements to business for sign off. Work with Project manager to schedule meetings with business or IT team for any discussions. *Position Requirements* *Formal Education & Certification* · Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience. * Knowledge & Experience* · 3+ years of Writing Technical specifications experience · *10+ years of Mainframe Cobol Development or support.* · 5+ years experience working with MVS JCL. · 5+ years on Sync Sort · 5+ Years on VSAM · Mark IV Table experience is a plus. · 5+ years IDMS Mainframe database experience, IMS, Index files. · 5+ years using Expeditor. · 5+ years Experience using Microsoft word, Excel. · 5+ Years Flow charting with Word or VISIO.
