*Long-term Contract* *$40/hr all Inc* Researches, designs, develop, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Perform .NET Application Software Development in support the customer. This person will work closely with the customer in order to design, develop, integrate, validate, deploy, and maintain applications that operate within the DEDMS Group. This group is tasked with supporting the Paperless Architecture. The person in this position will be developing new Web based applications based on requirements from the user community. *Skills Requirements: * · At least five years of experience providing information technology solutions in the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of software applications or systems · Experience with SQL Server or Oracle or DB2 · .NET (C# or BD.NET experience) · Web Application Development · Must be able to work with web services and API calls · Development Experience with ADO.NET and OOP · Clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) · Strong written & verbal communication skills · Ability and experience supporting the SDLC (requirements analysis, design alternatives, detail program specification, etc.) *Desired Skills: * · Development experience with XML, ASP.NET, MVC, and WCF · Able to work in a dynamic work environment · Ability to learn and explain new tools and technologies to others at all levels *Education: * The Computer Systems Analyst/Programmer 2 shall have at least five years’ experience providing information technology solutions in the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of software applications or systems. (Candidates with a Master's degree in a field related to information technology are credited with two years, and therefore, require three years of specific experience.) No other certifications are required, but any applicable certifications in this area are desired.
