Ability to design, test, and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate system life cycle methodology. Defines scope, work activities and deliverables for assigned projects. Collects, identifies, defines, and organizes IT requirements. Collaborates with others defining requirements to ensure solutions meet customer expectations. Verify and complete detailed technical design solutions. Participates in business and technical IT solution implementations and upgrades. Conducts code reviews, prepares and executes unit test. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems. Web Developer Job Duties: • Candidate must have a strong understanding of Web User Interface Design (UI), cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, standards, Security Principles and Object-Oriented Design • Experience in software platforms WebSphere, Oracle Database, Eclipse • Experience with Web Applications (WebSMART used) and programming languages including HTML, JavaScript, JAVA, Spring framework, J2EE, Web Services (REST) Education and Experience Required: • 2+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, relevant professional experience. • Production Support - Investigate issues identified by the customer or HP and work to resolve and communicate regarding issues. • Job hours - Sometimes additional hours are required to meet deadlines.
