Title: Proplesoft DBA posted on 2014-09-17 21:48:21 Job Description:Title: PeopleSoft DBA Location: Albany, NY Length: 1 Year+ At least eight (8) years of experience in database administration including a minimum of five (5) years experience utilizing Oracle relational databases, which encompasses installing, managing, upgrading and supporting relational databases in a complex PeopleSoft and Enabling Technologies environment. Preferred Qualifications: Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong experience supporting multiple PeopleSoft implementations. Installing, upgrading and supporting Oracle database software and the associated Oracle Technology stack in a multi-tier environment including: Demonstrated experience administering Oracle Database 11gR2 including at least 5 of the following components: • Real Application Clusters (RAC) • Automatic Storage Management (ASM) • Oracle Data Guard • RMAN • OEM Grid Control or OEM Cloud Control • Advanced Security Option • Database Vault • Audit Vault • Advanced Compression • Database Firewall • Various Oracle management packs (candidate should specify management packs in which they are experienced) • Oracle Partitioning • PeopleSoft behavior in an IBM AIX 7/1 environment including memory allocation. Additional Desired Traits: Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery requirements and solutions.
