We have a requirement for a QA Tester.
Title: QA Tester
Location: Warwick, RI
Duration: 6 months
Purpose: To provide testing support to the client staff to verify that the
configuration of the new integrated tax system matches the configuration
documents. Seeking someone to review the design specs, follow test cases
and scenarios and ensure all criteria is tested and being met.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in manual testing and Quality Assurance
- SQA tools (Microsoft Test Manager, Visual Studio Team Foundation Server)
and best practices
- Test cases, plans and scripts
- Defect and bug discovery
- Technical specification analysis
- System and unit testing
- Acceptance testing
- Regression testing
- Tracking, logging and reporting
- Issue identification and documentation
Under the supervision of the Production Oversight Leader:
- Execute test scripts as assigned
- Review test data for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Document test results in SQA Tool and provide feedback to developers as
required
- Clear up backlog of test cases
