*POSITION SUMMARY:*
Responsible for the Active Directory environment to assist with design,
test and implement Windows Active Directory Engineering solutions for the
Client environment. Provide transition instruction, documentation and tier
three technical support to the production environment.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Core Responsibilities)*
*Job Requirements:*
· Engineer, Support and maintenance of Client Windows servers and
AD infrastructure.
· Oversee Enterprise Active Directory delegation models and provide
technical assistance for facility administrators as required.
· Maintain, secure and update Active Directory production
environment. Conduct periodic HA / DR planning exercises as needed.
· Coordinate with Windows Services Team and local facility
administrators regarding server hardware installations, upgrades, and
migrations of essential AD services and rollout projects.
· Working with software vendors to identify, install and deploy
Client business need software solutions, involving AD LDAP authentication
and delegation rights.
· Troubleshoot / resolve hardware, software, and network issues
with Windows systems as required.
· Act as a technical liaison between Client customers and
third-party software/hardware vendors to deliver necessary solution for the
corporation.
· Produce and maintain existing documentation and run book
technical guides (e.g., admin procedures, SLAs, etc.)

*SKILLS:*
*Job Qualifications:*
· A minimum of 5 years working in MS Windows Server environment.
· Microsoft Certified Professional in the Windows Server track
(MSCE/MCSA 2000/2003/2008/ MCITP Enterprise)
· Strong understanding of Windows XP and Windows 7 OS platform.
Understanding of Computer and User authentication is needed for
troubleshooting performance issues associated with logon or Host resolution
for both Server
and Workstation.
· At least 5 years of experience in managing Windows Domains using
Active Directory. Thorough understanding of Domain/Forest trusts,
Replication, NTFS/ACL permissions, Group Policies, etc.
· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and
Services (including, but not limited to WSUS, IIS, FTP, DNS, DFS, SCCM,
SCOM, SQL and SharePoint)
· Working knowledge of DNS configuration, MS Clustering services,
SAN storage configuration, Terminal services, TCP/IP protocol, LDAP.
· Knowledge and experience applying Group Policy Objects in a
Domain Environment.
· MS Windows Server Security Configuration and Administration.
· VB Scripting, VM Ware ESX/GSX, Novell Netware knowledge is a plus.
· History of participating in the entire lifecycle (planning,
deployment, maintenance) of critical IT services.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including
but not limited to Excel, Visio & Project)
· Associate Degree in degree in information technology, computer
science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
