Position: *Electrical Engineer* Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 12 month contract with possible extension Electrical Engineer in (12 month contract with possible extension) *Responsibilities:* - Specifying, designing (schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM, cost analysis), implementing and verifying subsystems on the motherboard - FW/HW prototyping, characterization and test. - Quality documentation (clear schematics, simulation results, specs/datasheet, test reports) are required for reviews and software development. - Evaluation and in-lab bench measurements and debugging of signal integrity power fidelity and signal timing *Qualifications:* - Minimum BS/MS in Electrical Engineering - 2-5 years of direct experience on DC-DC power supply design of both switching regulators and LDOs - Prior design experience and familiarity with PID controllers implemented on fw for thermal management - Deep understanding of analog and digital control loops and multi-phase converter design - Requires a good understanding of board design and tools, including high speed, system performance optimization, analog circuit, filters, regulators and digital design - Possess good understanding of thermals, mechanical and packaging challenges. - Must possess knowledge of high volume manufacturing technologies and production variance - Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams and in a fast paced work environment. - Knowledge and familiarity with PC, embedded system architectures hardware/software architecture and power states/power management - Strong bench evaluation, signal integrity measurement techniques and in-lab debugging skills are required - Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
