Responsibilities
Working as Senior Data Analyst in Data Governance & Stewardship team.
Working with Data Architects and ETL team to make sure data models meets
CareFirsts requirement along with Governance lead and Business users.
Meeting with Business SMEs and understand current systems and reporting
needs.
Reviewing Data Model, Data Dictionary, Mapping Document, DDL etc..
Analyzing existing report and document for each Department.
Creating Mapping document for Data Element from Reports to EDW and to EDM.
Data profiling for EDW table(one of source system for Model Office)
Analyze data and create reports.
Involved in Creating test cases and test plan for EDM.
Coordinate for EDM testing for different subject area.
Environment: Windows XP, Informatica 8.1, Oracle 10g as Database (PL/SQL),
UNIX, Hyperion, Verisk

Job Description: Actual duration is 6 months.
Besides development, the resource must have a minimum of 3 years experience
and have actively worked on Informatica version 8. Additionally, they should
be able to mentor Jr. Developers and act as an ETL lead for their projects.
Conduct reviews to ensure ETL programs conform to standards and good design
principles. Ensure data definitions, mappings and processes are documented
according to standards. Unix scripting, data modeling and solicitation of
requirements is a plus.

 Client  is requesting the services of a senior analyst with significant
experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, development and
implementation, using the Informatica ETL tools. This resource will provide
technical leadership in the development of new ETL projects for business
applications within the Deere environment.



Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Consulting with business analysts on ETL needs, tool selection,
source/target system analysis & mapping, development & documentation of ETL
development specifications, oversee ETL off-shore development and testing
efforts, oversee design reviews & code reviews, assess technical issues and
provide direction on solutions, validate compliance to technical standards,
provide assistance to Data Analysts on documenting business rules and
transformation logic, identify reusability opportunities for ETL components,
act as point of contact for business partners through the development cycle,
conduct testing result reviews and deployment readiness reviews.



Technical Skills:

* Extensive technical working knowledge and experience delivering ETL
applications using Informatica Power Center is an absolute must.

* Mainframe environment experience (COBOL, JCL, IMS, mainframe DB2 required,
SAS experience a plus).

* Distributed application environment experience (AIX, Distributed DB2,
Oracle, Sql Server).

* Senior level experience mapping data transformation logic between
disparate data sources.

* Extensive knowledge of relational database design, modeling, and SQL
access patterns.

* Senior level experience in data warehouse, data mart design and
implementation.

* Significant experience in AIX Operating system operation and
