Required Qualifications:



· Experience in REST/services and Big Data technologies such as Oozie,
Sqoop, Amazon EMR distribution, Python, Pig, Impala, Presto and S3

· A minimum 2+ years of experience in installing, tuning and operating
Apache Spark and one/two or more related technologies; Spark SQL, Spark
Streaming, MLlib or GraphX

· Extensive experience with Hadoop and Spark clusters

· Experience with Apache Mesos & Spark Stream

· Must have a minimum 3 years of solid experience in Spark using Scala
along with Build Tools such as Maven and SBT.

· Must have experience architecting solutions in AWS based cloud
deployments of big data platforms

· Hands on experience (coding) Big Data solutions and strong experience in
Java/Scala programming

· Hands on experience utilizing Apache Kafka

· Hands on experience using Hadoop echo system (Java MR, PIG, Hive, Sqoop,
Scala, and Flume)

· Experience working with NoSQL Databases; Hbase, Cassandra, Couchbase

· Understands data modeling, read use-case optimizations, clustered data
processing models, data representation and storage models

· Experience creating efficient highly scalable and elastic systems

· Experienced in Full Life Cycle Development from inception through delivery
