You will be responsible for designing and implementing development and automated test infrastructure. Your job is to accelerate product development by helping developers help themselves. You will work on an Agile Engineering team that collaborates on common problems across products and across focus areas. As a result, you will have exposure to a broad set of problems, which allows for fast career growth and proximity to abundant technical problems. Responsibilities: - Build and maintain automated test suites to exercise our applications. - Setup data using SQL queries independently as well as understand/write SQL procedures. - Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system. - Requires thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area of accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of test strategies. - Responsible for the execution of integration, system, and regression testing of software. - Ensures test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met. - Adhere to defect tracking process; document software defects, using a defect tracking tool, monitor the progress in a timely manner, escalate aging and priority defects. - Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards. - Conduct research on emerging technologies.
