Position : Release Engineer Location : Deerfield, IL Duration : 3-6 Months *Max Rate-$40/hr* *Skills and Experience Required :* - Create, maintain, manage build environments using Jenkins, Maven, GIT, artifactory, and CHEF. - Work closely with project managers, developers, and test engineers during application launch phase of the software development life cycle. - Coordinate with operations staff to create installation and roll back plans for production releases. - Successfully drive the launch process for new product releases ensuring on-time delivery. - Coordinate day-to-day release activities for multiple applications in Linux Test environments. - Perform root cause analysis, practice risk mitigation, and moderate conversations between multiple stakeholders. - Participate in process improvement initiatives for the Release Management process.
