Location: San Francisco,CA Duration: 6-12 Months Contract Note: Need Local For F2F Key Skills: -MySQL DBS -Linux administration skills, -Mongo DB huge plus -Experience working for a social media, advertising, online type company would be huge! Responsibilities: -Manage 100+ MySQL Production clusters for availability, performance, and reliability required by the application primarily on Linux. -Support Dev team in building features that perform at scale, including writing and tuning SQL queries -Provide second-tier 24x7 support including pager rotation. -Troubleshoot database-related application performance issues and recommend solutions. -Assist in the administration, management, and monitoring of all MySQL database systems. -Support various internal users in forming optimal queries to fulfill their ad-hoc and reporting data needs. -Develop scripts and tools to support any or all of the above. Protect the safety and integrity of the database platform and client data, through backups and securing of MySQL instances.
