Three year's of experience within Software Quality Assurance principles and methodologies. The automated engineer will walk with developers through the testing of applications and products before they are updated and implemented for organizational use. There is a business need for accurate data and information to come from Ferguson's applications so the tester role is very important in this area. 2. Three year's experience in automated software testing. The engineer will need experience working with HP tools like QTP and automating testing solutions. Ferguson has manual testing, but the teams goal is to turn to more automated testing solutions. Someone with automated experience be able to impact the team quickly and offer advisement on enhanced solutions for the team. 3. Experience testing SQL, UFT, and/or scripting in VBscript. The engineer needs to have experience working with code and being able to read it to understand how it performs. They don't need to know how to develop, but being able to understand the code is essential. The testers will work with developers and have to check their work so understanding code is important.
