*Basic Qualifications:*
• Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in *computer sciences or
engineering discipline, business, or related field* *5+ years of
product **implementation* and or use of *PC SAS and/or
Enterprise Guide*.
• Detailed knowledge of *SAS BI architecture*.
• Experience with *Enterprise Guide*, and the *SAS BI Client suite of
products*. Working knowledge and experience with - the *design and
development* of *data warehouse, reporting, business intelligence* and
decision *support systems.*
• Additional experience with other *business intelligence and analytics* tools
such as *Business Objects, Cognos.*
• Excellent solution evaluation and *design, problem resolution and data
analysis skills*. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
• Extensive experience with *data integration* across applications in
*Enterprise
warehouse and Decision Support systems*.
• Consulting experience in a *healthcare setting*
*Requirement Description:*
The *SAS Technical Lead* will serve as a key member of the Business
Intelligence team and will be focused on using *SAS Business
Intelligence* tools
including enterprise guide. The candidate will be responsible for solution
development and design as well as understanding components of previously
created* SAS data* sets in other *departments*.
*Essential Functions:*
• The Solution Design Consultant is responsible for providing guidance and
expertise in the *design, development* to transition current data
sets to business intelligence capabilities with emphasis on products
offered by *Business Objects and Cognos.*
• The Solution Design Consultant will partner with both business clients
and technical team members to define and evaluate business
requirements,assess internal capabilities across all analytics tools
available within the organization, recommend appropriate solutions and
serve in a key technical capacity throughout the *design, development
and implementation cycle.*
• *Solution* *development*, *installation*, *migration*,
*configuration*, *maintenance,
technical support* and *troubleshooting* of current *SAS tools, *
* including PC* *SAS and Enterprise Guide* in a shared environment.
• Participate in and contribute to the implementation of industry best
practices for *SAS, DW and BI*. Contribute to performance tuning and
capacity Work with IT and business users to resolve support and
technical questions.
