Please let me know your availability and interest. *Please share Suitable resume to ir...@globalwebmaster.us <ir...@globalwebmaster.us>* Job title: Data Analyst Location : Bay Area, CA Exp : 8+ years contract : 8- 10 months Joining : Immediate Can do H1 but USC & GC Preferred *Would be needing a H1 copy* *Local preferred* JD: Data Analyst: • Analyze and understand the legacy data structures( transactional, data warehouse and any other views that contain BioMarin data). • Analyze any reporting databases and all the existing reports that support day to day operations • Contribute to mapping and traceability analysis on data to be migrated; know the source and work with software architects to understand the target • Create data model diagrams, data definitions and any other pertinent technical and informational database documentation • Evaluate the data quality and participate in the data cleansing efforts • Test the migrated data to ensure the QA/UAT criteria are met • Participate and support the data migration efforts. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Database Administrator/Developer: • Set up the environment necessary to store the legacy data structures. • Develop the transformations needed to convert the data into a format that can be loaded in to the new system • Participate in the implementation, testing and deployment activities • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems • Ability to work in an Agile environment. Address bugs with QA, plan schemas with engineering, and respond quickly to other business needs. • Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, and experience with best practices around database operations. • Strong SQL expertise.
