*Title: Functional SAP PP/Discrete Manufacturing Consultant* *Location:** Alpharetta, GA* *Duration:** 8 months* *Rate:** $65/hr Hr C2C Max* Our client has an immediate need for an SAP PP consultant. Consultant should have 8- 10+ years of SAP PP experience in a discrete manufacturing envt. Consultant should have 3-4 full end to end SAP PP implementations with at least 2+ being recent in discrete manufacturing envt. APO knowledge is a plus. The role is 100% functional but should have some debugging exp. Looking for someone who is senior level and can manage multiple projects at the same time. Will be working on combination of new development and enhancement projects. Experience with Variant configuration/document management is a plus. Person must have good communication skills. *Specs from the client:* The Application Expert provides expert business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing planning, scheduling, MRP, production execution, variant configuration and advanced planning and optimization. Has extensive experience in a discrete manufacturing controlled environment. Has hands-on experience in dealing with production execution in make to stock, make to order and make to order + engineering environments. Provides expert knowledge and experience in the design and support of interfaces that link SAP with third party software with special emphasis in the areas of manufacturing execution and order engineering. Has demonstrated experience to work across SAP module boundaries and integrate SAP with SD, MM, Service, Solution and FICO modules. Possesses strong communications skills and experience that support assuming a customer facing lead position. Provides support for modification (postponement) processes in US Distribution Centers and supports interfaces between DMM applications and SAP. Critical capabilities include understanding of the DMM third party MES solution especially including a thorough knowledge of the design and implementation of interfaces between DMM and SAP. Must also be thoroughly familiar with production planning in a modification (postponement) environment including specific knowledge of the Modification Monitor tool and the interaction between modification processes and SAP APO GATP in the US customized backorder processing environment.
