Position: Golden Gate Administrator Duration: 9 Months Location: Brooklyn, NY Job Description : •The Golden Gate Administrator is a highly skilled technical position that involves intricate knowledge of the Oracle Golden Gate product. •Golden Gate install configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution are all critical functions that the Golden Gate administrator performs. •Manage all aspects of the Golden Gate design, implement and support in development, UAT and production environments •Identify and resolve Golden Gate problems occurring in all database environments including performance related issues (i.e. database & SQL tuning). •Assist with performance and Disaster Recovery testing •Debugging and trouble-shooting replication issues in Golden Gate 11gR2 and 12c RAC environments. •Create and implement basic monitoring scripts. •7+ years’ experience in the following areas: Database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution. •Experience with Oracle to Oracle replication. •General Database Administration skills. •Effective communication skills. •Highly organized, ability to multitask •Strong ability to diagnose issues and problem solve •Logical, decisive thinker Golden Gate product specific experience in : · Design, implementation, administration, optimization and maintenance of Oracle Golden Gate. · Troubleshooting complex Golden Gate production issues including latency optimization and conflict resolution. · Golden Gate configuration and optimization on RAC environment. · Golden Gate bi-directional (Active-Active), Broadcasting and unidirectional. · Golden Gate patching, upgrade and solutions for compressed and encrypted tables and tablespaces. · Database Performance using Golden gate tuning.
