*Position :- Configuration/Release Manager/Lead (SCM)Location :- Bentonville, ARDuration :- 12+ MonthTechnical Skill :- * 7+ years of experience in Release & configuration management. 3 + Years’ experience using the following technologies or tools: GIT, Jenkins,Oneops, Linux, Windows Server 2008/20012, Windows 7,8, or other windows installer. ( Experience on GIT and Jenkins is a must ) Extensive experience on Shell Scripting and Unix. Technical team management experience including offshore team members Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills Retail domain experience a plus Hands on development in Java and Java based technologies. Verify and establish the SCM system utilizing Jenkins and GIT. Experience on the latest in build technologies like Git,Jenkins, Building in the Cloud. Design, develop, implement and support high-quality software build systems Provide estimates and manage own schedule at component/sub-system level , Manage build machines, servers, and build environments, and understands security concepts and processes for build systems Integrate automated builds and build artifacts into test environments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools Develop build scripts and tools for builds, using most appropriate languages and technologies Maintain and enhance external interfaces to build systems and information. Handle any and all issues and details necessary to fully define all SCM methodologies. Responsible for defining and establishing the software configuration management (CM) process across Information Technology. Establish baseline plans and roll-out plans. Fully detail and define the Release Management process in collaboration with IT leadership. Perform CM audits as planned in application/project plans and report on CM status. Partner with project manager, application architect and lead developers to establish methodologies for deployment planning, configuration management activities setup, integration strategy, deployment strategy Go/No-go decision making. Ability to work independently, under consultative direction only, or in a team environment. Possesses the drive and resourcefulness to make contributions both inside and outside specific areas of responsibility. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse audiences and in diverse situations. Excellent troubleshooting, reasoning, design, and risk assessment skills. Proven ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups. Highly developed analysis and problem solving skills.
