Immediate Need Cognas Developer with SQL -Interview ASAP!! Position: Cognas Developer with SQL Location: Rensselaer NY Duration: 24 Month
Duties include but are not limited to: 1. Work in coordination with a team of Cognos Report developers to expand the current reporting system. 2. Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design. 3. Work with .Net developers in constructing data and online presentation of all reporting efforts. 4. Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs. 5. Perform complex SQL coding to facilitate reporting and testing functions. 6. Assist with responding to Juvenile Justice data requests. 7. The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Technical Lead/Project Manager. 8. Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply: Experience writing complex SQL for querying and development of reports. Experience writing, developing and testing reports Experience coding and developing reports using Cognos web based reporting tools. Experience developing cubes for reporting Experience utilizing Cognos PowerPlay for developing reports. Experience doing data modeling, data mapping, data migration and assisting in the design of data marts in an Oracle environment. Associates Degree.
