Position: QA Test Lead Location: Atlanta, GA Duration:6 Months Requirement: Testing lead is responsible for planning and execution of all phases of testing as well as defect management. Testing phases included are Unit testing, System Integrated, User Acceptance and Regression. Activities include but are not limited to: Testing Coordination: Drafting (updating) testing strategy for each Wave1 Identify and monitor project risks impacting testing Coordinate test preparation activities Coordinate training for testers on Apttus functionality with Training Lead Coordinate training on testing process and tools (documentation as well as HP ALM) Completion of testing scripts Completion of testing data sheets Setup of testing in HP ALM Develop day to day testing plan for each phase Monitor test execution, work with project manager to resolve issues impacting test execution Ensure all testing artifacts are archived and appropriate sign-offs received for each phase Defect management Ensure all defects are documented and triaged Monitor/manage defect resolution Coordinate defect retesting Reporting Prepare status of all activities weekly for program management. During active testing, includes metrics of testing status, testing results and defect resolution. Close out reports for each project wave to program management regarding the defect root cause, defect detection index and recommendation for future testing cycles.
