SQL Server DBA Philadelphia, PA 12-18 months *Need Local Only!!* The Database Administrator will be responsible for the installation, administration and maintenance of various versions of SQL Server and performing database administration tasks. Responsibilities will include the following: Installation, administration and maintenance of SQL Server Instances; working with various versions of SQL Server including 2000, 2005, 2008 and 2012 Managing SQL Server users, roles, and permission; creating SQL scripts and stored procedures Maintaining and developing DTS and SSIS packages Performing SQL backup / restore as needed; performing SQL database upgrades, migrations and conversions Monitor and optimize system performance; monitoring SQL server error logs and email alerts Ability to troubleshoot and resolve day to day issues as they arise The ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ related SQL DBA experience. MCSE a plus but not required. Previous experience in healthcare highly desired.
