*Duration: 12+ months* *Rate: $65/hr C2C* *Pure Python role, working closely with the data scientist.* *Experience with data cleaning, and working with Big Data sets.* *Some experience with Java is good.* *Experience with Hadoop (pig, hive)* *Role Description: * The ideal candidate will have strong, industry based development background focused on building big data applications using Python. This role will require an individual with a technical degree; preferably a Masters degree but not required. Required skills include the detailed design, development and deployment of python applications with a focus on analytics and machine learning. The role will also require experience working with large data sets including: ETL, data prep for model development, parsing of data and data clean ups.
