*Project Role Description Summary:* Very experienced, well-rounded Finance
/ Controlling consultant with deep FERC business, process and configuration
knowledge across all areas of the ERP/EAM roadmap affected by FERC.
*Required:*
* FERC Business Process experience (emphasis on business experience)
* SAP FERC Module configuration experience including Reporting (SAP FERC
Module Experience)
* Cost Accounting experience (Cost Centers, Activity Types, Allocations)
*General Ledger experience*
* Budgeting for Capital, Expenses and others experience
* Electric Utilities business and accounting experience
* Integration Experience with Projects System, UI Planner
* Integration Experience with Plant Maintenance, Service Management and CR&B
* Integration Experience with Materials Management and SCM
*Preferred*:
* *Experience with PowerPlant /PowerTax*
*Strong Team Member:* Ability to work on a complex ERP/EAM implementations
within a large team environment.
Able to explain FERC while designing, documenting, configuring, testing and
successfully implementing a new FERC utility customer (formerly NARUC
reporting).
Work with cross process teams where FERC support is required.
*Project and Utility Industry Expertise:* Demonstrates a strong business
understanding of the utility industry and business processes, with deep
expertise in broad utilities finance and budgeting.
Demonstrates skills and experience in working with clients to solve
problems, provide business logic in support of decisions and
recommendations, facilitate meetings and consensus building sessions with
diverse groups of participants.
Broad communication skills to staff and executive management with clear
emphasis on listening.
*Functional Expertise:* Required experience with developing and
implementing the integrated process design, configuration, testing, and
ultimate conversions of the SAP Finance / Controlling functions included
within the ERP system, along with knowledge of the integration with EAM,
PM, AM, PS, Fleet, Compatible Units, HCM and/or SuccessFactors, SCM, etc.
over the entire lifecycle through all phases of the project.
*Documentation:* Experience authoring and overseeing methodology content
build including: Business Process Design documents / Process Flows /
Functional Specifications for Custom Objects / Unit Test Cases and
Associated Scripts / Data Migration Maps / Training Content / Business
Process Procedures / and other standard project tools and deliverables.
