*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job Title: SAS Developer Location: Miami, FL Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: Miami-Dade County Public Schools Position Description This consultant will be assisting with legislative mandates from the Department of Education related to FTE funding, Class Size Reporting, Teacher Allocations for World Language Programs and mentoring existing employees in analysis applications and software products for educational research. The programming experience required includes spreadsheet, database, and desktop publishing software, application programming languages, and interaction with mainframe databases. Responsibilities Reporting maintaining and modifying different student formats to the DOE, as legislation mandates. Writing of formal research reports concerning ad hoc data analysis and statistical investigations. Cleaning, modifying, analyzing, and reporting on large-scale data files. Reporting, maintaining and modifying student data to pertaining to federal and state requirements. Communicating with other district offices concerning data analysis needs and results. Training and mentoring other employees in the use of existing software for data manipulation and analysis. Qualifications Have more than *10 years’ experience working with statistical packages (SAS, SPSS) analyzing large-scale data files.* Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Conversant in Pascal, Python, or similar programming language. *Experience in working with the Department of Education in responding to research demands associated with legislative mandates involving to FTE, ELL, ESE and all other state reporting formats.* Experience in MDCPS or another Florida District technology department is a plus.
