Position Description:

This role will be focused on providing SharePoint 2007 and 2013 expertise
on a large People Services program called the Hiring Process Taskforce.
This role will be a resource on the Communications, Change & Training (CCT)
workstream working specific on an enhanced SharePoint site presence for
impacted hiring process stakeholders.  This role will create a central
repository for organizing, accessing, sharing and searching for documents
and resources related to our hiring process. The work overall involves
providing internal clients two SharePoint site scope areas:

(1)  Collapse and consolidate existing SP2007 sites focused on the
Recruiting community and redesign a new enhanced site on this SP2007
platform
(2)  Design and develop a new SP2013 site focused on the Hiring Manager
community with connectivity to the new firm-wide Intranet

*Required Skills: US Citizen and must have FRONT – END with some back end
development with SharePoint.  They are ultimately looking for a developer
who was more C# in the 2007 days but has converted to 2013 or has a lot of
experience in client side object model like JavaScript, JSON/REST.*

*QUALIFICATIONS *

5+ years of experience as a Microsoft SharePoint / .NET / C# Developer,
experienced with design and development of SharePoint applications,
components, web parts
3+ years of experience creating workflows or event receivers utilizing
Visual Studio
2+ years integrating data from external systems using Business Data
Catalogs, Business Connectivity Services, or Excel Services
2+ years of experience using client-side object model or JavaScript
frameworks to connect to web services
5+ years of experience in software development and IT support services
required to automate the collection, processing and dissemination of
management, administrative and programmatic information
The primary objective of this SOW is to provide development and maintenance
SME support to software development team primarily in support of Microsoft
SharePoint and .NET software platform. Services covered under this SOW will
be limited to this scope unless otherwise indicated or changed.
1-3 years of experience focusing on UI (user interface) techniques and best
practices
Ability to quickly learn the client’s business and the needs of the
business around the specific project
Possession of excellent analytical, consultative, organization, customer
service and problem solving skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with specific
focus in PowerPoint skills

*Preferred experience*

Degree (BA or BS) in a IT-related field preferred
Experience connecting to JSON, REST, ODATA, or SOAP web services
Microsoft 2010 or 2013 certifications, such as MCM/MCTS/MCSD/MCSE/MCSM
Prior experience with launching intranet projects is a plus
