Working with libraries and publishers, client preserves e-journals, e-books, and other electronic scholarly content to ensure researchers and students will have access to it in the future. The client archive currently preserves more than 60 million digital objects (journal articles, eBooks, newspapers, and other digitized historical artifacts), totaling more 1 billion files over 260 TB. It is currently growing at the rate of 10TB per month. This position is an opportunity to join with client in creating its next-generation technical infrastructure. The person in this role will have the opportunity to support this archive's increasing growth, as well as to develop new features in support of the new, dynamic artifacts that now comprise part of the scholarly record. Software development teams work in an agile environment and believe in continuous improvement of both products and processes. all team members are strongly encouraged to share their inputs and own the decisions.
