*Title: Business Analyst - Insurance* *Location: Columbus - OH* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* Interface with clients and gain understanding of requirements/processes through meetings and discussions. Provide overall business and systems analysis and design support. Coordinate new customer development and enhancements. Execute functional tests and evaluate results to ensure accuracy and quality of complex system changes. Provide testing feedback to technology and monitor adherence to functional requirements Ensure that the resources are equipped to be productive in time to meet requirements of customer. Adjust priorities according to changes in requirements and workload. Assist Overall Program's project manager in making staffing planning decisions and communicate effectiveness of offshore delivery. Provides Training and Operational support to business unit. Provide training to existing staff on and off site training and demos as needed. Assist and advise peers to ensure efficient management of current and incoming resources. May be a subject matter expert in a chosen area/function Thorough understanding of Life & Pensions business functions, market dynamics and trends across Geos. Exposure to COTS products in Life insurance - Vantage,Ingenium, NaviSys, AdminServer, CyberLife, Life70/LifeAsia, etc. Should have indepth knowledge in at least one functional area - New Business and Underwriting, Agency and Compensation Management, Policy Servicing, Claims,F& A, Actuarial. Knowledge about Industry standards - ACORD, ORIGO, etc. Through understanding of business functions in Personal & Commercial Lines,market dynamics and treands across Geos.Exposure to COTS products in P& Cinsurance space -Polisy,Exceed,PointIN,GuideWire, OneShield,etc.Should have indepth knowledge of business processes and functions like UnderwriEndorsements,Claims, F& A, Billing,Reinsurance,etc.Knowledge about Industrystandards - ACORD, ORIGO, etc. Insurance: Advanced Business Analysis skills - Should be able to work along withShould be able to document business requirements in industry standard format, whave good understanding of technology and engage with technical team to provide Essential Skill(s) Detailed understanding of Retirement business functions; Ability to understandclient's business needs and conceptualise solutions in the area of Pensions andAnnuities Package experience - Admin Server, Profund, Sungard, Aquila DefinedBenefits and Defined Contributions Good understanding of atleast one LoB, in atleast one Geo, with workingknowledge of all LoBs in P & C Insurance.
