*Role - System Engineer* *Location - Eagan, MN* *Duration - 6+ Months* ·*Hiring Manager Notes:* New Manager. Emphasis on Network and/or Infrastructure Management. · 3+ years of Unix (AIX, LINUX, HP) and Windows server support. · Experience configuring, implementing, maintaining and supporting CA UIM and CA Spectrum in large environments · Ability to create dashboards and reports using CA UMP and Spectrum · Experience in integrating CA Spectrum with other monitoring tools · Knowledge of Networking concepts such us Switches, Routers, WANs, MPLs VPNs · 5+ years of experience with scripting language such as Perl, Python, XML, shell, REST, HTML · Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies. Responsibilities: Monitoring Environment including CA Spectrum, UIM- Infrastructure Manager, CA Systems Operations Insight). Create/Implement monitors when requested by customers for critical systems (Delta.com, Real Time Staffing Manager, Baggage Tracking, InFlight/Pilot Crew Scheduling, Tec Operations,,etc.) as well as infrastructure monitoring changes (Active Directory, Exchange, Database, Middleware, Windows and Unix/Linux OS). Investigate alerting/notification process for outages, make recommendations on improvement. Perform analysis on event trends and recommendation on reductions and improvements. Meet with application and system teams to gather requirements, develop, and implement new monitoring. Troubleshoot internal alerts and notifications from monitoring infrastructure. The Enterprise Monitoring team is responsible for monitoring and automations on all Delta Network, Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, and Application environments. Supporting the Monitoring Enterprise infrastructure. On call 24x7x365 to support any monitoring tool issue. Tools supported are CA Spectrum, CA UIM, CA IM, CA SOI, *SR SPECIALTY DEVELOPER* 7+ years experience Responsible for leading team efforts, delegating tasks, following up on progress of team and coaching junior team members as assigned. • Transform business requirements into an application architecture that is compliant with Delta enterprise standards. • Create application architectures that serve as frameworks for future applications. • Develop appropriate software and documentation according to standards. • Architect small applications • Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems. • Follow standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software. *May perform other duties as assigned. *Basic Entry Requirements:* • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field.
