Location: Castle Rock, CO

Duration: 3 Months RTH

JAVA/INTEGRATIONS DEVELOPER (SOFTWARE ENGINEER II)

We are looking for an experienced Java developer to help build and maintain
integrations

between on-premise and cloud-hosted systems, and to develop or maintain
internal applications

or software suites. The developer must be self-driven, able to work in a
team, and collaborate

on software projects.

Contract-to-hire candidates are preferred, and must be authorized to work
legally in the United States.



RESPONSIBILITIES

● Contribute to key phases of the software development lifecycle.

● Identify, analyze, and develop applications and interfaces (APIs).

● Assist in the collection, documentation, and analysis of stakeholder
requirements.

● Develop software solutions by designing specifications and standards, and
programming.

● Identify and communicate technical problems, and work towards resolutions
in a timely and professional manner.



SKILLS

● 3-5+ years experience designing, implementing, and administering business
integrations

(such as using Apache Camel but especially *Mule ESB*, which we use here).

● 3-5+ years experience developing Java enterprise applications *(Java 8,
Java EE 7, Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM).*

● Experience using a standard *IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ, or NetBeans, etc).*

● Experience developing and maintaining *web services or microservices
(SOAP/REST).*

● Experience developing for large distributed systems or legacy systems is
a plus.

● *Experience with source code management (Git and Github).*

● *Experience with software build managers (Maven or ANT*, and
administering Artifactory).

● *Agile software methodologies (Scrum).*

● Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) perhaps with JUnit or
TestNG, or other

unit/functional test framework.

● Knowledge of database systems, and their design for enterprise
applications (MSSQL, MySQL. Also NoSQL databases such as MongoDB).

● *Experience developing applications end-to-end (using HTML/CSS/Javascript
frameworks, or Java-oriented frontend technologies such as JSF, GWT, or
Vaadin).*

● *Experience doing DevOps (JIRA + Github + Jenkins + Linux + VirtualBox +
Chef).*

● Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

● Strong documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
skills.

● Experience working with the Workday API is a plus.

Job Title: Java Developer (3 positions)

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12 Months

Direct Client Position

Client: State of NC

Note: Need US Citizen, GC holder or EAD-GC Only



The project scope includes developing application to support a juvenile
system supporting clerks, Guardian Ad Litem, and Family Drug Treatment
Court support staff, and may have responsibility for other application
systems.



Description of Work

This position serves as an Applications Programmer and performs systems
analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation for these projects.
This position must interact with analysts, other developers, and project
management staff assigned to the team. The individual must have the ability
to communicate effectively in oral and written form, and the ability to
establish and maintain good working relationships with the team. Expertise
in the design and implementation of criminal justice applications is highly
desirable. Responsibilities will include the following:

Analysis of existing system components

Review or requirements, use cases, and designs

Coding of data access objects

Coding of user interface

Develop core frontend components of a fast, scalable, complex desktop-class
web application

Work with the design teams to maintain web patterns library

Collaborate with the other teams to ensure on-time delivery of scalable UI
architecture

Adhere to development best practices including test driven development, an
agile methodologies

Unit testing of all coded modules

Documentation and communications

Knowledge, skills and abilities



Required Skills:

Expert understanding and 3+ years' experience with: *Java, Struts, XML,
Log4j, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax, Javascript client architectures
and UI design patterns, building and maintaining fast, scalable, complex JS
rich internet applications, good communication*



Desired skills:

Experience with *Angular JS, Ember, Backbone, or other JavaScript
frameworks*

Experience Java *7+, Spring Framework, Spring Security, JEE*

Experience with *CSS pre-processors (LESS, stylus, other), Require, Grunt,
Karma, Bower, Git, Yeoman, Node.js/NPM*

Experience building *Web Services (ideally RESTful)*



Training & Experience:

*Eight years of progressive web application development experience working
with large-scale, complex online systems.*
