* *Position - Strong PHP Developer* *Location - Seattle,WA* *Rates - $45/hr on c2c best* *contract - 3-6 months * * * *Bachelor degree or equivalent. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree. 2-5 years of work experience with Web development experience in PHP is required. 2-5 years of work experience with Object Oriented Programming experiencein PHP5 is required. In depth SQL knowledge is required. Experience working in a team environment, making use of a revision control system such as CVS or Subversion. Experience with a MVC framework is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting skills are highly desirable. Working knowledge of Linux is highly desirable. Test Driven development experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS is highly desirable. Experience developing scalable software in a multiple-server environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with common design patterns is a plus. Experience developing in a Service Oriented Architecture is a plus. MySQL experience is a plus. Experience with caching techniques and products such as APC, eAccelerator, memcached is a plus. Experience using the Eclipse (PDT) IDE is a plus. Experience writing unit test suites in PHP Unit is a plus. Experience with the Jquery Javascript library is a plus. Strong skills in web application components such as PHP, SOAP, Tomcat, Struts, JSP's, and MySQL. Experience with Web Services a plus Demonstrate a strong track record as a programmer 2+ years programming experience in web application environment Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and solve issues. Possess good judgment, positive attitude and professional demeanor. Dependable, with excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills, and be flexible in a dynamic team environment.
