Please let me know your interest. *Job Title : Big Data Consultant with Java Exp* *Location: Bristol, CT* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Description* • *9+ years of work experience developing software. * • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex exploratory projects. • Strong affinity for teamwork and empowering fellow developers. • Expert in object oriented programming • Strong proficiency in the Java programming language and Java Frameworks. • Working experience in Big-data open source frameworks such as Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Pig, Hive. • Strong proficiency a modern scripting language, such as Python or Ruby. • Strong proficiency in SQL based, document based, and key-value based data stores. • Machine learning experience using open source big-data frameworks (Apache Mahout, Spark MLlib etc.) *Will be a great plus. * • Proficiency with git. • Experience with AWS, linode, Azure, Heroku, or OpenStack. • Experience with Apache Kafka. • Experience in functional programming such as Scala. • Proficiency with agile development methodologies. • Proficiency with linux/unix based systems. • Affinity for sports.
