*Business Analyst with Medicare ExperienceRate up to $33/hr C2CDuration: 5+ monthsLocation: Milwaukee, WI* Opportunity for a technical BA with Medicare operations experience. This contractor would be responsible for defining, analyzing, reporting and developing recommendations on data related to multiple, varied business metrics across their medicare claims team. MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Create and maintain databases to track business performance. Analyze data and summarize performance using statistical procedures. Develop and analyze business performance reports (for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provide notations of performance deviations and anomalies. Create and publish periodic reports, make necessary recommendations and develop ad hoc reports as needed. May require taking business issues and devise the best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BS/BA degree in a technical discipline with 2-3 years experience in database structures and standard query/reporting tools. Must be able to understand code with a demonstrated understanding of SQL. 2-3 years of Medicare Operations experience is an asset for this role (Medicare part A operations preferred).
