Straight forward Change Manager and organizational readiness position. They
will support a training assessment at the end – but not actually build the
training. This is related to a IT system change and implementation – so
need to have worked in the category.

Change Manager
6+ Month Contract
*upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test*

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and Execute Change Management, Stakeholder
Management/Communications  Strategies and Tactics
* Align existing change methodology and develop plan to define tasks and
manage execution for change management and communications in support of
program or project activities and business needs, including executive
needs, program needs, deployments and transition to ongoing production
support.
* Plan for program implementation of critical deliverables, but also use
available resources to respond
quickly to immediate needs and revisions in work plans.
* Plan tactics, leveraging existing methodology, to address organizational
and technical change
impacts; drive identification of stakeholders/audiences and needs (on
internal, external and
individual project basis).
* Plans will include:
* Sponsor Plan based on Sponsor Model/ Stakeholder Map
* Stakeholder Engagement Plan, including Sponsor and Project Team coaching
regarding
change management
* Change/ Impact Action Plan based on Change Impact Assessments

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
* Bachelors is required.
* Masters or other Graduate Degree is preferred.
* PROSCI Certified (preferred)

JOB EXPERIENCE
* 8 – 12+ years’ experience in professional change management
* 4 – 6+ years’ experience in Information Technology or related field
* Previous experience with successfully implementing IT systems

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
* Demonstrated Change Management and facilitation skills and prior
experience with change readiness
communications
* Strong presentation, written, oral and visual communication skills,
including ability to read and adapt to
different communication styles
* Demonstrated problem analysis and solution recommendation capabilities
* Flexibility and ability to react quickly and efficiently to project or
business need changes
* Ability to work in multiple media as appropriate to the audience and
message
* Strong interpersonal and influence management skills (enabling effective
relationships with other
project team members and business unit / geography personnel, and ability
to defuse tension and
facilitate cross-group decision making).
* Ability to work with all levels of management, including Executives (VP
and above), managers and end
users and with external audiences, as necessary
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Technical abilities consistent with available communications tools /
channels (email, presentations,
Internet, BU specific and function specific tools, etc.)

Preferences
* Experience in medical or pharmaceuticals industry or experience in health
care
* Knowledge of Medtronic practices / standards / resources
* Resource located in Los Angeles, CA
