Role: Mobile Specialist
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duration: 6 Months

Specific Duties:
Serve as a developer of n-tier applications using iOS SDKs and mobile
development tools.
Develop, test, and deploy user interface, service tier and data tier
components for complex applications, including server-based web
applications and mobile applications in a timely manner.
Participate in the full SDLC process (including coding) of iOS application
solutions, including Objective C, HTML, JSON, XML and web services.
Participate in design and coding of database objects in relational
databases such as IBM DB2, including queries, stored procedures, views,
triggers, etc.
Participate in design and coding of application-embedded, scheduled and
ad-hoc reporting solutions.
Comprehensive understanding and experience designing, developing and
testing for the Apple iOS platform is mandatory.
Expert level knowledge is required of using iOS frameworks related to UI,
Core Data, storyboards, web services, security/keychain, camera
integration, asynchronous/background processing, multitasking, etc.
Must have good knowledge of common design patterns (like MVC, delegation,
target-action) and Cocoa layers related to Touch, Media, OS and Services
and Objective/C and iOS principles of memory management, notifications,
blocks, categories, etc.
Meet with end users and technical staff of all types to gather business and
system requirements.
Provide technical assistance and assist with mentoring of PennDOT staff
assigned to the project.
All projects follow the Agile sprint methodology, and the incumbent should
be comfortable with daily standups, sprint grooming and planning
activities, integration testing, and UAT.
Work independently and as a part of a team.

Required / Desired Skills
Full iOS SDLC experience as an application developer
Experience with Object Oriented development
Experience with iOS SDK and Objective-C
Experience with Core Data framework
Experience with iOS Auto Layout system and UX refinement
Experience with relational database development
Experience in architecting  developing mobile web applications in
enterprise settings
Experience w/ consuming  utilizing RESTful JSON web services 
synchronization of data captured on a mobile device w/ enterprise backend
apps/DB
Experience with HTML5 development and JavaScript frameworks
Experience with blocks and notifications
Familiarity with Swift programming language and latest iOS APIs and
frameworks
Experience developing hybrid applications and applications on multiple
mobile computing platforms

Role: Mobile Specialist

The Mobile Architect will serve as the primary technical architect for the
projects.
The Mobile Architect will also be a key participant in project planning and
in the creation and review of technical deliverables.
The Mobile Architect will guide and mentor the technical team in all phases
of the SDLC, including requirement validation, detail design, development,
and implementation.
**Candidates MUST have Enterprise Level experience performing Architecture
 hands on Development with native iOS mobile technologies.**

Specific Duties:
Serve as the lead architect and designer of Mobile Applications primarily
targeting the IOS Operating Systems.
Meet with end users and technical staff of all types to gather business and
system requirements
Propose comprehensive solutions based on business and technical requirements
Participate in efforts to create Ball Park Estimates.
Architect, design and develop user interface, service tier and data tier
components for Mobile Applications.
Develop standards, repeatable processes, and reusable components
Participate in project planning, including developing of timelines, propose
composition of technical teams, and leveling of resources.
Mentor technical team leads and developers on Department processes and
standards to promote consistency and improve productivity.
Assist in the development and review of technical deliverables on projects.
Participate in the full SDLC process (including coding) of Mobile
Application solutions, using Java, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS,
Bootstrap, Objective-C, Swift, JSON and web services.

Required / Desired Skills
Full SDLC experience as an Applications Developer/Architect
Experience with J2EE-Java, Spring, Mybatis, Websphere MQ/IMS and
Objective-C applications development
Experience in Web Services design  development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON) in
enterprise environments
Experience developing iPad (iOS) tablet applications in Objective C using
native frameworks (such as UIKit, Foundation, CoreData, CoreGraphics)
Experience developing iPad (iOS) tablet applications in Objective C using
native frameworks (such as Security, QuickLook, MobileCoreServices, etc.)
Experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, and any JS framework (such as
JQuery, Dojo, SenchaTouch, AngularJS, etc.)
Experience with Single Sign On, SAML, LDAP, AD integration, OAuth
Experience using Agile methodology on software development projects
Experience deploying apps to Apple B2B store
Experience deploying apps to enterprise using MDM like AirWatch, Mobile
Iron, etc.
Strong oral and written communications skills
Leading technical and cross-functional teams to develop and deploy mobile
apps
Experience with industry standard Java/J2EE application servers,
specifically IBM Websphere
Experience working with mobile infrastructure teams for MDM, VPN and
security development
Experience with Object Oriented Design and UML
