Instructional Designer/Curriculum Developer/Trainer

Columbus Ohio
6+ Months

Training certification and/or equivalent work experience (preferably 3-5
years)
Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately
Demonstrable technical writing, editing and proofreading skills
Demonstrated familiarity with Instructional Design and Courseware
Development principles
Web-Based/Online/eLearning Course Development experience
Exposure to various Learning Management Systems (LMS) Experience
Strong PC skills, expertise in MS Office, Screen Capture Tools,
 SharePoint, Articulate Studio or related Software
Familiarity with web based enterprise software systems, tools and
technologies
Ability to quickly learn new Software Applications
Accomplished presentation skills, including development and delivery
Ability to exert positive control over the training environment
Ability to work independently or on a team.
Creative problem solving skills
Process orientated with high attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team
Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines
Provide example work from past training engagements

Job Description
Designs, develops and delivers instructional material for customer training
courses that support company technical products and solutions. Candidate
will use a variety of methodologies including but not limited to classroom,
eLearning, online, webinar, hands on, live demonstration, video, FAQ’s and
 learning aids. Independently develop entry level and advanced level
courses for both internal and external audiences. Utilize multimedia
technology and authoring tools. The successful candidate will have
experience creating the goals, structure, delivery channel and content of a
course in order to facilitate the highest level of knowledge transfer in
the most efficient manner. Adhere to development standards and established
procedures. Develop hands-on exercises, scenarios and assessments. Define
data requirements; conduct quality review of all Training deliverables.
Establish and administer appropriate, quizzes, skills assessment,
evaluations and course certifications.
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information
technology or related area of study.
A minimum of three years of instructional design and/or technical writing
experience.
Training Coursework/Certification.
