Java Developer Location: Tulsa, OK Terms: 18 month contract Description: We are seeking a resource for a long-term contract assignment doing application development and support for Midstream pipeline systems. The job will entail: Collaborate on new software development based on requests from business and technical leadership. Provide rotational on call support for a 24x7 system. Software package implementations and support. Qualifications This role requires at least 5-7 years experience developing enterprise-level web based applications. Candidates with experience developing Gas & Oil applications and/or pipeline operations and procedures will be given preference. Candidates need to have a strong background in core web development on the Java platform including POJO, JSP, JBoss, JSF, Hibernate, and Tomcat. Other technologies in play include: Web: JavaScript / HTML, Perl, ExtJS Database: SQL Server & Oracle, SQL, DB Visualizer or TOAD, Ruby, VB Script, XML, PL/SQL, Business Objects Internet protocols: FTP, HTTP, IP, etc.. In addition the team is considering building some .NET based applications so candidates must have a willingness to develop on that platform using C#, ASP.NET, and nHibernate.
