*Job Title:Service Reliability Engineer* Location: Vanburen Township, MI *Duration: Up to 12 month project* Green card or citizenship required *Job Overview:* Candidate will be working on multiple projects as a project leader and/or developer and/or internal consultant in Support of Client’s APM and Predix Field Agent solutions. You will interact with Product Development, Sales, Support, Professional Service organizations and internal and external customers. You will be a deep technical expert who is responsible for the use of Chef Systems, Predix and cloud infrastructure automation framework within the GE Digital Software Technology organization. *Essential Responsibilities:* ü Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction ü Support full stack solution for APM and Predix Field Agent solutions in a Service Ops capacity ü Be responsible for maintaining a deep, up-to-date understanding of customer solutions, teams, and integrated systems in order to effectively support clients customers ü Responsible for executing build and release strategy for highly complex parallel and concurrent releases for Software Products in support of APM and Predix Field Agent ü Enhance and support multiple cloud-based customer environments, deploying continuous integration framework used across teams ü Writes code and scripts using program as well as scripting languages for CI\CD ü Understand, design, and deploy full stack (Infrastructure, applications, DB, middleware, networking) ü Drives performance and reliability, including developing testing plans and applying reliability frameworks across full stack deployments ü Develop and support meaningful customer based metrics and reports ü Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint ü Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level ü Participate in the EA (Enterprise Architecture) governance model ü Support the development software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses ü Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities ü Writes code using programming as well as scripting languages for automation, monitoring, and integrations *Desired Characteristics: - Technical Expertise:* ü Proven troubleshooting skills ü Proven communication skills ü Minimum 1 year of experience using the full Chef DK suite ü Demonstrated experience with Ruby scripting language (2+years) ü Proven experience Windows and Linux OS ü Practical experience for AWS, J2EE, Apache, Fuse, SSO Integration technologies, Reverse Proxies ü Logical knowledge of networking protocols and design, specific knowledge of Predix Field Agent highly desirable ü Understanding of ITSM and service reliability methodologies ü Experience with monitoring tools into all layers of cloud solutions (infrastructure, application, DB, Middleware, network, etc) ü SQL DBA experience ü Experience delivering SaaS solutions ü Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals. ü Understands concepts of setting and driving architecture direction. ü Understands architecture standards concepts to apply to project work. *Business Acumen*: ü Understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics. -- Thanks and Regards, Tejaswini Kola, SR* .*Technical Recruiter -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
