*Location: Columbus, OH* *Duration: 12 months* *Pay rate: $48/hr on C2C * *Must be local to Columbus, OH. 50% on-site, 50% remote. * *Pl make sure the candidate you present are on your bench, and not working, available immdly.* * Description: * *Job Description* *The Business Entity Cisco seeks for a Network Consulting Engineer for Securit* *The Team Individual will serve as a team member for extended engagements* *Role & Responsibilities* · Network Consulting Engineer will provide consulting services including Security Optimization Subscription, Security Design Assessment, Security Design / Configuration Reviews, and Cisco security product implementations. · Responsible for finalization and delivery of reports for each consulting engagement · Prepare and deliver formal presentations for senior (C-level) executives · Develop and maintain software tools to enhance Cisco consulting services · Contribute directly to Cisco's knowledge management initiatives by documenting and briefing other Cisco security consultants on lessons learned from engagements and by developing new methodologies for delivering service *Minimum Qualifications* · Position requires BS in a technical field or equivalent experience; CCIE desirable · A minimum of 4-6 years experience in systems/network security administration · Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting network security for enterprise customers (preferably within a datacenter environment) · Extensive experience in security configuration of network and security devices in a large enterprise environment (routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems) · Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting one (1) or more of the following Cisco security technologies: ISE, IPS/SourceFire, ASA, CSM, VPN · Detailed understanding of TCP/IP protocols and detailed understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP) and layer 2 protocols and technologies. xpert-level knowledge in network security design, architecture and implementation; System-administrator level knowledge of multiple UNIX variants.
