*Tech Stack: Node.JS, Backbone.JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, REST API,
MySQL*

*Most importantly, they are looking for *
*• Node.js (experience building applications using node and light php
experience they use back end scripts in php to move audio around etc)*
*• Backbone*
*o React as a secondary – they are moving in this direction*
*• Someone with the ability to work with many different teams and
personalities and have the ability to navigate that.*
*Plus*
*• API (experience developing RESTful API’s)*

*Primary project this person will jump on*
*• Content API (Re-write)*
*o This is where all news stations inject content *
* They can use front end tools *
* They can access API and pull content *
* It’s a single source and a powerful tool for their customers *
*o They are re-writing the API from scratch *
* New coding *
* Will work with an experienced team *



*Required:*
*3 to 5 years experience developing database-driven web sites and
applications Experience with REST API development  patterns*
*Strong JavaScript knowledge, including Node.js for the server-side and
Backbone.js for the client-side*
*Intermediate PHP knowledge*
*3+ years familiarity with HTML, CSS, and client-side Javascript
development Proficiency with both SQL (MySQL) and  NoSQL*
*Experience with Git*
*Comfort on the command line, wherever it  resides*
*Desire to learn from and contribute to team’s development practices and
patterns*
