Position Requirements 1st Priority is Fund Accounting Experience (a shoe-in for a phone interview) 2nd Priority is a strong Project Management background within the financial sector. Our client, one of the top financial services firms in the world, is seeking a Project Manager for their Columbus, OH location for a 6 month contract. Overview of the Role: The requirements and responsibilities for all aspects of the Project Leader Role include (but are not limited to) the following: Provide analytical, technical and business and/or management expertise to the group. Complete assignments that require this expertise. Respond to and resolve issues beyond standard management requests. Use Independent judgment to make decisions where no clear precedents exist Role Description: Technology Management: ? Act as technology expert for team ? Review project plans, code and test results proactively, conduct peer reviews Client Management: ? Advise client and PM on technical aspects of project (all phases) ? Translation of business requirements ? Play role of liaison during UAT testing ? Resource Management: ? Day to day interaction with project team Project Administration: ? Drive Project Accounting Tracking process ? Involved with day to day discussions of project issues/interact with PM and team members ? Make strategic recommendations to PM ? Act as PM delegate as necessary Qualifications: ? 3 - 5 years Project Management experience ? Fund Accounting experience desired ? Sungard InvestOne or Investier experience desired ?
