To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each essential duty satisfactorily, which includes:
< >Identifies major application components such as UIs, services layers,
interfaces based on business criticality of the functions and amount of
changes being introduced to those functions across the releases that needs
to be performance tested. Sets-up performance test environments with the
right volume of data such as in database and configuration that mimics
production set-up. Sets-up performance test cases using tools such as
Client Loadrunner to execute the test cases. The test cases would be for
short duration like 2 hour test and for long duration such as for 8 hours.
Conducts atomic load analysis for sample transactions and application
functions using mechanical tools as well as manual stop-watch analysis.
Monitors performance of the key transactions and hardware vitals such as
CPU, memory, available connections etc. to come up with comprehensive view
of the transactions with performance issues. Recommends fixes of the
performance issues. Conducts stress test of the functions or transactions
to understand scalability of the hardware and breaking point from the
volume the hardware such as a server can take. Reviews release intake and
collaborate with functional testing and Development teams to come up with
any new focus areas. Assists Operations team in the analysis of performance
issues in production. Works with Development, Architecture, and Deployment,
and Operations team to drive set-up of stress test environments including
hardware, application software and configuration, and database. As a
team-lead supervises the work of 2-3 performance testing engineers, in
addition to being individual contributor. Provides Tracking and Oversight
of the performance testing tasks for his/her team. Assists SQA team on
functional / automation testing if needed. Thinks strategically, and brings
best of the performance testing discipline in the industry to Client.
Strives to understand mortgage business, and works to improve business
KPIs. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:

*EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE*
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following
education and/or experience:
·         B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
·         Minimum 10 years of experience in software development
organization. Must have worked as a Performance Testing Engineer in past.
·         5+ years' experience as a Performance Test engineer supporting
software development organizations using both waterfall and iterative/Agile
SDLC.
·         3+ years' experience leading a team.
·         Domain knowledge of originating, purchasing, selling, and
servicing of mortgage loans, and/or financial verticals a plus.
·         Prior experience with Infrastructure architecture, software
development, or web-performance analysis a plus.

< >Must pass Client Corporation's Background Screening process prior to
beginning employment.  Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may
be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or

such as Client Loadrunner.

waterfall and iterative/Agile SDLC.
·         Understanding of SQA including progression, regression, and unit
testing.
·         Experience with testing automation, QTP, Service Test, Selenium,
etc. a plus.
·         Experience with code deployment and log analysis of the servers a
plus.
·         Familiarity with relational databases including Oracle,
Sybase/SQL Server, and HA Application architecture a plus.
·         Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as Keynote,
Catchpoint, Client Client, Appdynamics, Tealeaf, Wiley, and Splunk a plus.
·         Familiarity with testing or performance testing mobile
applications both mobile browser based and App based a plus.
