There is work and interaction with the larger Systems team, comprised of 3 systems administrators (2 senior, 1 junior), 1 Senior Network Engineer, 2 Help Desk/User support, and 1 group manager (me). Will also interact with researchers using the Magellan cluster, ranging from developers to senior scientists. 3. Are there any off hours, weekends, or on-call rotations? Not generally. It’s possible some situations could arise that might require some work outside regular hours, but that would be rare. 4. Is there any remote work possible? Yes, depending on the candidate. However, onsite presence with some regularity is required. We would prefer someone who is local to the area, for instance, as opposed to someone for whom on-site meetings would require travel. 5.
