*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

· The Sr. Business Analyst is a core member of the Enterprise
Applications team supporting various application platforms (SharePoint,
Archer, IBM Notes, Cherwell, ServiceNow, etc.)



*THE BUSINESS ANALYST WILL:*

· Develop a good understanding of the platform applications.

· Translate business requirements into actionable change for fast
delivery of technology

· Improve quality of deliverables & reduce development cost by
ensuring that business capabilities are clearly communicated & are
accurately reflected in the high quality EPICS & User stories

· Support the business to continually improve the business needs by
working together with Product owner & development teams

· Work with multiple product owners to write & develop clear,
non-implementation epics, user stories & acceptance criteria

· Support & contribute to the metrics driven culture with focus on
hard data



*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:*

· Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science,
computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related
advanced degree preferred.

· 5-7 years experience required



*RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:*

· Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor

*JOB SUMMARY: *

The Sales CRM team is seeking a Business Analyst for the CRM migration to
MS Dynamics project. The qualified candidate will be responsible for
generating and interpreting business scope for development. Candidate
responsibilities may include writing requirements, defining acceptance
criteria, writing test scripts, and validating test scenarios.
Additionally, candidate should have experience maintaining vendor
relationships, acting as a liaison between business and IT professionals.
Other responsibilities will include adhering to project management
processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget.



*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE*

· Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science,
computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related
advanced degree preferred.

· 8-10 years experience required



*RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL*

· Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from
supervisor

· May oversee junior level business analysts



*SKILLS*

· Advise management on current system principles and necessary
updates and recommendations

· Supervise the expansion or modification of system to serve new
purposes or improve work flow

· Train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs

POSITION PURPOSE:
Under broad-based direction, works with resource manager and team
responsible for interpreting business requirements to solve complex
business problems using differing technologies and systems views, across
multiple functional domains on high profile and/or mission critical efforts
and projects. Understands project management and integrates with business
requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates business requirements for various projects and develops the
following artifacts as applicable:
Business Requirements Document (BRD)
Functional Specification Document (FSD)
Test Plan
Creates process flows and business flows by collaborating with the
development and business teams
Serves as conduit between developers, architects and designers, and
with internal business partner and/or vendor companies
Provides technical/functional assistance in identifying, evaluating
and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user
requirements
Supports team by assisting with functionality questions, testing,
implementation, and other deployment and delivery functions, as assigned
Under Manager’s direction, oversees the following aspects of assigned
projects:
Project/Scope definition
Project plan and schedule creation
Project status tracking and reporting
All deliverables and wrap-up
Interfaces with all stakeholders (business, IT, management and
vendors) to obtain and provide appropriate level of information related to
assigned projects
Ensures proper project document requirements and deliverables are
clearly defined and delivered
Conducts project meetings; completes project tracking/analysis
reports; reports project progress, issues, and risks to IT management and
business
Tracks/reviews IT, business and vendor deliverables
Assists in obtaining technical and analytical guidance for the project
team

Specific Skills required with # of years of experience: (IE – Java 4+ yrs
experience --- please list at least 3-5 Skills for suppliers to focus on)-
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or
Business Administration related field or equivalent experience/training
4+ years of relevant technical or business work experience
Advanced expertise in SDLC – Agile preferred
Advanced ability to plan strategically for current and future business
environments, including future technology and business design changes to
create flexible solutions
Advanced knowledge of systems flows, engineering documentation, tools
and architecture concepts – Rally experience preferred
Advanced understanding of business systems and industry requirements,
and full technical knowledge of systems analysis
Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment,
leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem
with a can-do attitude
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enterprise level applications experience in a systems analyst, or
subject matter expert role is a plus
SQL scripting and reporting tool experience is a plus
