*Position: NAS ENGINEER - PREFER LOCAL CONSULTANTS *Location: CHARLOTTE, NC Length: 1 YEAR CONTRACT Our client is seeking a NAS Engineer for their office in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate is well versed in the NAS environment and with NetApp technologies. *Responsibilities: ** Deployment of storage infrastructure based on strategies, policies, and procedures developed by Lead Architect. * Good understanding of many Operating System platforms including *Win2K, AIX, HPUX, Sun Solaris and SUSE Linux and how each performs in a NAS environment* * Work with Architect to develop storage strategies in support of key corporate goals. * Insure that storage infrastructure is robust, reliable, and provides solid platform for applications. * Provide level 1 support to Production as required. * *NAS storage technologies including EMC and NetApp. * Experience with EMC, HDS, Centera, Clariion and Cisco SAN Switches. * Proficient understanding with EMC array configuration tools and software including ECC and Workload Analyzer. ** Knowledge and understanding of disaster recovery methodologies and best practices. * Strong telecommunication technical background and experience. * Ability to manage large projects. -- Regards, Sam A.
