*Title: Sr.Oracle DBA Duration: 6+months Pay Rate: 45$/Hr C2C All Incl Location: Albany, NY Job Description: *DCJS is currently undergoing several major development projects including a rewrite of the Sex Offender Registry system. The new system, Sex Offender Management System (SOMS), will be a state of the art system which will better serve the needs of both internal users and the public. This system will be developed in Java using Oracle as the DB management system. This project will be implemented in Increments with the first increment, Address and Document Management, due in September, 2008. Functional /detail specifications are in progress and the Java programming task is just beginning. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a team environment with business analysts, a data base architect, a technical team lead, Java programmers and selected customers. Additionally, they will acquire knowledge in the criminal justice discipline. This knowledge is highly transferable as every state has, by statute, a sex offender registry and multiple criminal history systems. This is a great opportunity for the candidate to acquire additional skills while participating in an important and exciting development project. *Mandatory Skills: Only 100% matching resumes please.* *Minimum eight (8) years experience in Database Administration, two to four (2-4) years of which was working Oracle 10g or higher RAC clustered environment.* *The form must be completed correctly showing the date range for each requirement.
